Expansion Joints

Standard Type

Single Arch

  • Used where initial misalignment does not exceed 1/8” but not where flanges are out of parallel.
  • Available for pressure or vacuum.
  • Arch can be filled: however, movement limitations are reduced by 50*.

Multiple Arch

  • Same as standard, except with two or three arches.
  • Suitable for pressure or vacuum with flanged or ship –on ends.
  • Used when greater movement is required where to face –to –face dimensions are not limited.
  • Also, available with filled arches.

Offset Type

  • For use where initial misalignment of the axis exceed 1/8” and where flanges are out of parallel.
  • Can be furnished with multiple and filled arches, flanges, and slip –on ends.

Lightweight

  • For handling air, liquid, gases, and fumes at 8 to 15 PSI and 15” vacuum.
  • Available with multiple arches, filled arches, and sleeve ends.

Slip-on Type

  • For low pressure 50 PSI.
  • Eliminates the need for retaining rings.
  • Designed to slip over pipe ends.
  • The joint ID is made to conform to standard Schedule 40 pip OD.
  • Special face –to –face dimensions can be furnished (with single or multiple arches, filled or unfilled).

Pinch Valve Sleeves

  • These sleeves can be furnished with Pure Gum, Neoprene, Nitrile (Buna N), Hypalon or Viton tube with Neoprene cover; as well as Butyl tube and cover for high temperature service.
  • Consult employees at Rubberfab with valve manufacturer’s name and model number, as well as full service conditions.
  • Large diameter and specially designed sleeves can be custom fabricated to your drawings and specifications.

Vibration Pipe

  • Designed to reduce as much as 90% of the noise and vibration in a metal pipe line.
  • Vibration pipe can be furnished in the same standard and high temperature polymers as joints and fittings.

Flexible Pipe

  • Flexible pipe is an economical replacement for steel and cast-iron pipe.
  • It withstands abrasion better than steel, is non –corrosive, shock absorbent, and compensates for any movement or misalignment.
